New Digs, Swift Kill PvP Team and Legendary Fire Wizard

Celestian Observatory

After a couple months of gathering and transmuting what seemed to be a gazillion reagents and then crafting them into the necessary ingredients I finally got to take my trip to Grizzleheim to craft my Celestian Observatory.

My new digs are a simple, yet elegantly decorated Celestian style abode (if you know me well, you know I like to keep it simple -- I just don't like lots of stuff).

I'm still working on decorating a little bit (only because some of the rooms are still empty) and I've thought about crafting some of the furniture. I'm currently looking at things to craft and will post about it when I get to that point.

One of the two towers (across from the PvP ring) is specifically for my retired pets. These are pets that I've trained but they don't have the talents I'm looking for. I actually call them my reject pets but please don't tell them that - they prefer to be called Retired Pets.

Teleporters

I love the new teleporters because I can access all three of my homes without having to equip them. Some people enjoy their teleporters and have fun trapping unsuspecting Wizards in places they don't expect but, so far, I haven't been creative enough to do that (although if you want any tips on how to do that you could talk to Elijah LightThief -- not to mention any names or anything).

My main home is my Sultans Palace. My gardening home is the little, peaceful Mooshu house and my other home is the Celestian Observatory.

You can get to the Observatory through the blue teleporter at the World Gate or by a teleporter I put by the PvP ring.

Swift Kill

I played my first PvP match in my new home yesterday and lost (a humbling experience but it does happen).

I lost to Alex who is a Legendary Myth and is a member of the PvP team I'm on known as Swift Kill. Swift Kill is a small group of Legendary Wizards who do ranked PvP together as well as farming and whatever else we decide to do at the time depending on who's online and available.

In our match Alex had the advantage of going first. Going first is simply an advantage, not a guarantee for a win. I've won many matches going second. Going second simply means you have to stay one step ahead of your opponent.

We were both very low on health and it was down to the last hit. Had Alex not cast the Medusa that defeated me (or had he fizzled) I would have defeated him with my Judgement. It was a long (over an hour) and close match but Alex won fair and square and he got to say that he defeated Sierra Moondust (and I certainly heard some kidding about it from another member of our group -- but it was all in fun).

So... way to go Alex :)

Commander

I recently achieved a Commander rank in PvP and got my Commander robe. The sad thing is I lost that rank and am now working to re-achieve it. But I did it once and I will do it again :)

I orignally achieved Commander by primarily doing 1v1 but I'm now doing team PvP (mostly). When no one else is online I'll get a 1v1 match in here and there but I also love the team matches. I also do a mix of ranked and practice matches and when my friends see that I'm not in the arena that oftem ask me what's up and why I'm not in the arena!

Legendary Fire Wizard

Another thing I've been working on lately is leveling my Fire Wizard.

My Fire, Sierra, recently made Legendary and I've been doing The Waterworks trying to get my Legendary gear. I got the hat and robe in the first few attempts but I've lost count at how many times I've been under water trying to get my boots. Sylster just won't give them up but I'm gonna wear him down until he does.

That's all for now...

Sierra :)
